    I see the resume audio is in there .. very cool ...

    But ...

    Can there be a setting to resume the audio when the app starts .. or comes out of hibernation? That way it would truly emulate a head unit.

    I think MediaCar had a setting to resume the app in any of the modes (music, video, GPS) .. that would be Uber-cool

    OK .. been playing with it some more ...

    On music playlist navigation .. when you open a folder .. the cursor stays on the folder with 2 dots ... if you hit any of the 3 add keys (checkmark, +, or +1) it adds stuff from ALL the other folders. The fix is to put the curson on the first song .. then it only adds the folder you are in .. or the others below depending on what button you push. Can you have it default first item in a folder when you enter it .. or not have the add keys go crazy with the recursive stuff.

    The video stuff is now wonky. No matter what I do, it tries to play video with Winamp, loading any of my video selections into the Winamp playlist. If I am playing music and click over to video, the title of the current song that is playing shows up in the window, but Winamp pauses.

    I have Media Player classic installed correctly .. and I tried setting the path with both the program name at the end of the path and without .. same results.

    I got the video to play correctly once by clicking DVD .. then MPC came up with the "123" logo .. and I was able to select videos and play them. But that only happened once. And as soon as I went back to "Video" .. it started loading titles into WinAmp again

    I can add that too -- really want this ?

    Right now you have two options to start with repeat or shuffle ON/OFF by default.

    hahaha... that's a good suggestion, I never noticed that since I always select the song I want to play first.

    If winamp is being used is because for one reason or another MPC is not running right (maybe crashing too)! If the DVD portion loads right, then you got the path correctly. Do you have the Road Runner or OLD Remedia installed ? I fixed a bunch of video issues on the last release.

    The remembering the shuffle thing ... I have a folder of 80's music that has about 1200 songs in it. That could play for weeks alone ... so the idea would be that I load all 1200 songs into the playlist and hit shuffle. Everytime I start the car, it boots right up, starts playing where it left off, and shuffles to the next song .. like one BIG *** CD

    The video thing is working right on my CarPC .. was flakey on my laptop .. but my laptop has all kinds of crap installed .. so that might explain it. I will play with it more on the CarPC tonight and see what I see.

    Have I mentioned that you and this development ROCK !

    Really Winamp is who controls the shuffleing of songs here, if you hibernate and bring RR back it will keep from where it left off. If you exit and re-run RR it could remember the shuffle but you'd have to use a 'shuffle=last' in the INI (which I plan to include as well as 'repeat=last').

    EDIT: The options are actually audiorepeat=true|false or audioshuffle=true|false and they were undocumented because I intended to work on it more.

    I've just finished implementing these functions: (for next update)

    timeformat=long time|short time|(custom using HH=Hour, MM=Month, SS=Seconds, AM/PM for 12 Hour -- i.e. HH:MM AM/PM)
    Long time: 12:34:56 PM
    Short Time: 17:34 (Military format)

    dateformat=long date|short date|(custom using DD=Day, MM=Month, YYYY or YY=Year -- i.e. MM/DD/YYYY)
    Long date: Sunday, January 02, 2005
    Short Date: 1-2-2005 (Will follow regional settings of Windows)

    audiorepeat=true|false|last
    Set default audio REPEAT mode when loading software. "last" will save/use last setting before exit.

    audioshuffle=true|false|last
    Set default audio SHUFFLE mode when loading software. "last" will save/use last setting before exit.

    The resume feature has been changed to act like a headunit for the car, that is, starting the software or returning from hibernation will automatically resume audio playing from where it left off.

    Working on playlist and other options..

    EDIT: Audio Browser has been improve to select first item of subfolder on "browse" and to select the folder comming back from on "back"

    Added ini setting to allow running any command at startup (i.e. "AUDIO" -- to start loading the audio player)

    Working on improving the Run/Load dynamic commands...
