    Damn, You da man!

The album info is a .txt file placed in each album folder. In MediaCar it scrolls vertical right below the album art. I have one for every album, I just go to buy.com and copy the album info they have.

Here's the part of my skin file that defines it.

    /, (R) Movie Information
    /, FORE BACK
    /, x y w h r g b r g b pt font
    /, --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- -- ----
    R01,017,232,215,231,096,175,255,000,000,000,15,"Ar ial:B"

    END

    Here's what it looks like.

Umm... I have many folders with .TXT files in them, but MediaCar doesn't display anything neither on the Audio Browser nor on the Video Browser... what filename do you use ? also does it scroll automatically ?? If so, would you want it the same way or you'd rather scroll manually ??

    I may found a Bug:

The Video Engine is not working correctly.
It plays the movie in a Winamp window, not in Remediacar.

I'm only one and I'm not that familiar with the Linux GUI, sorry... for now, there's always VMWare.. besides, I thought there was already another project remaking mediacar for Linux...

Did you install Media Player Classic and set it's path in Remedia.INI ? that's the only way that would happen...

It's autoscrolling and the speed is good. I just name the .txt same as the folder it's in, but I don't know if that makes a difference.

EDIT: I just installed MediaCar again to test album info and the .txt needs to have the same name as the folder it's in.

Especially the Idea with the Temp-Sensors is veeeery nice.
Could you tell us were to buy them and if they are already supported??

Is there any Chance to get a real copy of the Metal Skin? I mean without the new bar.
It is a little bit difficult to touch.

For the temp sensor, just check out the links section on my page.. Its sold in many locations. You can build it yourself if you rather do that. they are FULLY supported as of now.. I have it in my car

I don't have enough web space to store the modified skins, but if you have the metal skin with my update on it, just go and edit the Audio_player.skin and Audio_browser.skin files -- the original lines are commented out, just uncomment them and remove the line that starts with 'T,' (the definition for the touch wheel).

You can nalways download the original skins at febsperanza's site (see links section of my page as well).

Cool... I had it installed, just didn't know what to try... anyway, with exception of the album info, I've got all the requests you made ready... check the home page for list of changes and the updated code/binaries.

I'll have to create a new component to make the album info like it is in MediaCar.. nothing hard, just have to spend a little more time on it to make sure the words won't break apart etc..
