You're gonna need Frodo's LMF or RoutisLauncher. This is the same problem that Media Engine has launching Routis / iGuidance.
I finally got around to getting RR set up and running and man this thing is a blast. New life has been put back into MC.
Anyways... I've tried to put Routis into RR and I'm getting the message that the sound files are not there or corrupt. Yet, when I run Routis alone, it runs like a champ. Anybody have suggestions to the problem? Has anyone run Routis successfully yet?

I believe some pieces of software might not work correctly when you don't run them from their instalation folder. If you want to know if that's the case, just make a .bat file like this:Originally Posted by carpcnoobie

cd "\program files\routis"
Routis.exe
(replace paths and file names for correct ones), then on RR.ini set gpspath=routis.bat (the above file saved at RR's folder). See if that works for you. I'd gladly try to find better solution for this -- I just need more information on the problem.
OK, I'll give this a try.
Right now, Routis is in it's original folder and as I said, everything works properly. I have RR pointing at Routis.exe. Is RR trying to run Routis alone? Or is it trying to do like the original MC and capture simply the window for Routis.
BTW, just to make sure I'm not going stupid here, I checked the original Media Car and it captures the Routis window and runs the program just fine.
Also.. this is what my .ini looks like for Routis.
gpsmode=2
gpspath=C:\Program Files\Deluo\Routis\routis.exe
gpsname=Routis
Thanks for trying to help. Dodgetwotimes, I'll give that a try as well.

I'm still having issues with this. Would sure like to know if anyone else has got this to work right.
I tried the .bat file and that gets the program running. But it's still not capturing the window. Also, if I try to leave and come back (go to music, video, etc), it starts up a new Routis while the current one is still running.
Sorry for all the fuss..

Cool Beans man.. if the app wasn't enbbeding then RR cound't know if was already running so it would always run it as you said.. I'm planning to improve the external gps and other "shell" functions to switch to the correct drive/directory before running the application...Originally Posted by carpcnoobie
But I'm Glad to know you got it worked out..
EDIT: New version will by default run the application IN their path (so not bat file is needed).
