Does it run, just not enbbeded, or doesn't run at all or runs and goes "behind" ? any more details ? I mean, I tested it both as External GPS and as Destinator Option... Also, did you get the 1-31-05 Version or the one I put out yesterday (few hours ago) ? I fixed a bunch of little things..

Basically i'll just need command line parameters sent to gammacontrol and gammacontrol will handle the rest. Sorry for the whole sendmessages thing

Also, just found something - maybe i'm missing something again...

When I choose long date in the config - it seems like it's too long for the title bar and gets overwritten by other text. Short date is okay.

Long Date is like: January 31st, 2005 ... your skin will have to allow plenty of space for you to use that.. but it is still an option...

    GammaControl v.7
Use the NaviVoice config to configure the lat/lon for this.
As promised, the command line switch is "/switch"

Cool, This works fairly well.. does the lat/long needs to be setup since we're simply using it manually controlled ?

Also, what kind of licensing requirements does this have ?

    Thanks!

The lat/lon is for automatic gamma changes. So say you configure it correctly, the program will know the time that the sun sets and it will dim or brighten up the display accordingly

Licence - well, its donationware (like NaviVoice) until someone wants to sell it.

Glad it's working. If you have any suggestions then fire away (maybe changing the day with night when switching so that night mode would come before day, that sort of thing).

Oh, also don't hardcode GammaControl.exe. This is because NaviVoice will have the same feature, and its dumb having NaviVoice and GammaControl fight over the gamma settings.

Cool... right now, switch works... but the first time you run "/switch" it doesn't do anything, then the next run, it goes to "night", then on the following, goes back to "day", then the next it does nothing ... then the next goes night etc.. I mean: it is not completely alternating every time you run it... I think it might be switching between day/night and some auto/default setting in the middle.

Regarding configuration, I could be nice to have it setup as long as whenever it loads up it sets up the screen to whatever it should be according to the lat/lon (On its start up I mean).
