I'd love to have RR be in the task bar. I find it very annoying having to minimize all my apps manually to get to RR.
Why do you want to minimize Road Runner?Originally Posted by Chita79
It's the cake having/eating thing.
I can add that easily.. I think... :/ hehehe the thing here is that the screens that make p the skins are dynamicly loaded so I can not show them on the taskbar or you might end up with a ton of RR's on the taskbar.. so I gotta use another window and handle when you try to restore/switch to it..Originally Posted by 0l33l
Just make them all visible on the taskbar. As long as the other windows areOriginally Posted by guino
hidden at the time, only one will be visible on the taskbar at a time.
My next generation Front End is right on schedule.
It will be done sometime in the next generation.
I'm a lesbian too.
I am for hire!
Yeah, the problem is when I show Menus (over other screens) they're the same exact form (so you could have menus with anything) and there's no way to turn it off at runtime... anyway, I'll get something worked out.. I believe I have done that in the past ..Originally Posted by frodobaggins
I went thru the code and I trick a little to have Map monkey embeded. The reason I found that it didn't embeded with the binary I down loaded is you hard code "Map Monkey -" when searching for window name.
This is what I change in modRoadRunner\Exec
It will embeded Map Monkey or D3 beta fine.Code:'Load/Show Map Monkey If FindWindowByPartialTitle(GPS_NAME) = 0 Then 'Load Map Monkey and fix it in place DoLog "Shell: " + Chr(34) + MapMonkey_PATH + Chr(34) Shell Chr(34) + MapMonkey_PATH + Chr(34), vbNormalFocus Else 'Show Window HideWindow GPS_NAME, False End If Menus(t).ShowForm Frm.Hide FormBottom Menus(t).hwnd, GPS_NAME Menus(t).AppName = GPS_NAME Menus(t).Caller = Frm.Tag CurSCR = "destinator_gps.skin"
One problem is that MM/D3 doesn't fit within RR skin/window.
If I have RR run at top = 50 and left = 50, MM/D3 will embed at 0, 0 instead of 50, 50.
Maybe you can make a chang to the code.
They told me to use "Map Monkey -" for the window name.. I guess you're using D3 (Old version) instead of Map Monkey (New version). The GPS_NAME is used for the external GPS, that's why I hard code Map Monkey.. if that's the only GPS you use, you could have set to use External GPS and set the path/name for it.. just didn't expect anybody to be using the old D3 when Map Monkey release (non-beta) is out and it is FREE as always ..Originally Posted by MatrixPC
yeah... im really interested in getting rid of those numbers.... waddya think guino?
Also, are you planning to add a minimize feature available in the near future?
