Were can i buy this kits???
For what are these Phidgets used???

Its is a hardware that can be easily controlled through software.
They are used for many different things, like some poeple use them for controlling their climate control system.

Some used it to display the temp. inside or outside the car in RoadRunner, right???
In this thead, they wont to use it with an photocell to chance from day to night Modus in RR, right too??

8/8/8 = 8 anaog inputs, 8 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs. the temp and photocells should be connected to the analog inputs. The rest is correct

The button should still keep its three stages. Within the options area you select for each one on those settings disable, skin, gama setting and may be even time ? This way you can have the gamma changed, the skin or even both... keeps every one happy. And because when RR closes down and goes back to the defaults when you reboot your skin / settings should be back... I think ( unless you hibernate in which case it wont ).

What do you all think - best of both worlds then ...

I'm working on implementing the gamma "built-in" RR right now.. it's not so hard, just messy.. anyway, I've intendet to add a day/night skin feature.. in my opinion, it should be separate, but I guess it could be made to be controlled by the gamma button as option.

I agree but don't forget there are other apps that may be used... like MM or Phone Control ( yeh all right bad examples but you know what I mean ) where having a skin switch & gamma as well is handy.
