Well.. trying to solve your issue, I actually figured out why the logo spins like crazy in some computers... The version of the flash in the machine is what does that..
I recommend you try the following:
-Unzip it into Windows\System32
-Click Start->Run, enter: CMD (and hit Ok)
-On the text window, type in (each line followed by enter):
You should see "....succeeded", if so, close that window and try RR again.
This should also fix the problem of the logo spinning too fast -- I tried it.
Let me know if it still doesn't work..
WOW! How did you know so fast? What exactly happened?
Thanks so much for your help! I'll be donating soon I promise!
some machines just have the flash support from microsoft (older version). All I did was post the new version and tell you how to install it..
Glad to help :)
Im a newbie and trying this out for the first time. Your app looks awesome, got the video and audio working great. havent shelled out bucks for GPS yet.
Question though...I cant launch any application from the apps window. like calc or anything else I put in there to test with. Sometimes I can get the calc jpg but the app itself wont launch (If I double click or hit 'launch', same result...nothing). Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?
Typically this means the path to the application on your Launch INI file is incorrect.. you should edit the INI files for the apps you wish to run and make sure they are correct along with their window titles. If the path is wrong, it won't run. If the windowtitle is wrong, it will run but you may not see it because it will not embed. I have not had any issue reported with the latest versions of RR regarding the launch screen -- in fact, lots of people use it.Quote:

I thought it was just me so I checked the setting in the config and it said last - as a result I tested this by leaving it in number of modes and each time after been in hibernation ( at least ) it still defaulted back to the random setting.
I don't mess with the repeat/shuffle after hibernation.. but I can definitely force it to the last settings..
i found an interesting bug in girder.... sometimes when i hit "1" or "6" , instead of changing to different areas in RR, it completely closes out RR and winamp still plays the song, but i cant get back to RR, i have to end task to both rr.exe and winamp.exe and start over (which is a pain and def. dangerous while driving) i wonder why its doin that... :(
I'll look at it.. haven't done much testing with girder after the navigation code was re-buit.
