Should I do anything more apart from changing *.skin files to make MBM temp to appear?

You must have MBM running (of course) and then run RR. If you need to figure out which sensors are what in your board (sensor numbers), download the MBM sensors information application from my download page.. then just look at the information you want in the list and place the number of the sensor in your .skin files -- i.e. "MBM49" is the Fan speed on my board (Sensor number 49). then make sure your tooltip text is either "", "c2f" or "f2c" (if you need conversions). Not sure right now but a tooltip text of "0.0" could also work to define say 1 Decimal point precision (most MOBO's only return integer values for temps).Originally Posted by DjBac

For the Video Player, I can let you select say the JPG/GIF file to display in the place of the "black" space.. the problem is that when the user presses "zoom" this area will be covered up in different regions, not to say the entire screen when in Full Screen Mode.. I assume what you want to do is to set the video playing inside a window, while still having it's controls around it.. If that's the case I can add some extra support to do that on another version.. for now, I'll have trouble enough merging the built-in player with the current support to MPC... and it is also important to notice that MPC support may not work right in a skin of this type... in any case, this is definitely a major feature to add.Originally Posted by holistic

no... the thing i wanted was instead of having the player at the botoom like now i just wanted it to be like in my other skin files but with a hole in the middle so u can still see the video
ummmm..... even a transparent GIF woudn't work there.. what you want is basica lly a big hole in the Skin (the VB Form is not transparent).. so I'd have to add say a skin code that could let you "cut" pieces of the form out.. which would allow you to make weird shaped screens (such as a screen with a big whole in the middle.. It's not hard to do that.. then if you make it the size of the other screens it will not appear to be in the bottom as the video player seems to be...Originally Posted by holistic

exactly... cause with a gif file it just turns grey in the middle
Why donīt define an "always on top" surface, with the right size and position, instead of work with transparent layers?
I mean something like: alwaysontopscreen(x,y,horizontalres, verticalres). And it'd be automatically closed when other screen is selected.
Even better: videoscreeen(x,y...) / gpsscreen(x,y...) / visscreen(100,200,600,360), so we could create enbedded screens with different sizes and positions for different tasks instead of the current "full screen" for everything.
It'd be useful for my skin too.![]()
