it enables simple voice messages when navigating through the software.. the voices only play when there's no mp3 playing..

well, you'd have to make sure nothing is playing in RR, then pressing "Music" on the main menu for instance makes the word "MUSIC" be spoken... right now, those come with the application, but this will soon be custumizable..

I get the voice on my desktop but not in the car. In both cases "Voices" are enabled in RRConfig

PS: Could this be linked to my problem with voice directions volume for MM, which I posted in a previous thread ??

    Wizz,
I get the same thing that you do. I think it is a problem on my XP Pro system in the car has something wrong with the SAPI and the speech that is built into XP.

I have not been able to figure this out yet.

this is really not all that complex.. if it doesn't work, I'm sure something is missing in your machine, even if it is just a setting. All I do is use a pre-built component from microsoft and tell it to "read" a certain text. It's as simple as writing down: speak "Hello", there's nothing I can change/check/fix with the code.. either it works or not, depending on the machine's settings/software. If it doesn't work, I'd only suggest re-installing the sapi, agent and control panel.
