This problem could be that when SA close, a modal dialogue window pop up asking you to save the current map. RR always running upfront and thus blocking that window.
How can i embed SA USA 2005? it will open the program but i cant close it or get back into RR then go back to gps with out making problems.

For "discovering" window information, you can use a very nice simple application called Winspecttor Spy..Originally Posted by WebDog

You can find the information you need by doing this:
-Install Winspector
-Run SA 2005 and make sure the window you want to embedd is visible
-Run Winspector
-Drag the red target circle (top-left) onto the WINDOW TITLE of the window you want to enbedd -- you should see a red line around the entire window.
-Now the window information is highlighted on the list of the left side of Winspector.
-Right-Click on the highlighted item and hit "Properties.." a new window comes up
-The information you need is in the two first lines of the properties window (class name and window title).
You can try to use the second line info (Title) or the first line with a '!' in front (to denote it's a class name) as the GPS Name in RRConfig. Examples would be (for the GPS Name setting of RR):
!CabinetWClass (by window class name)
My Documents (by window title)
You can also specify Both information (for a more precise search):
!CabinetWClass!My Documents
Let me know if you need more details..

hey WebDog..did you get this to work????
If you Put these lines exactly in your RR.ini file it will work:
gpspath=C:\Program Files\DeLorme\Street Atlas USA 2005\SA2005.exe
gpsname=DeLorme Street Atlas USA® 2005 - Map File 1
I have just tested this with 2005, and it is working fine, embedded. If it doesn't have the ® in the gpsname line, it won't work.
Hope this helps.
