Thread: RR 2-27-05... LATE Release (Fixes)..

when i enter RR... the appearance button and night/day button are highlighted, i didnt touch them... so for some reason something is telling them to be pushed down. The same happens in the video section with some of the player controls (stop, play,...etc)

You always have the weirdest bugs... never seen nor heard of that.. nor the code that controls this stuff has been touched for the longest time... :/

Did you try those update links I sent you a while back ?

AVS has serious problems in some machines.. that is, RR actually "finds" the VIS window and enbbeds it, even though you have not started it.. To get rid of this, just set MilkDrop in RRConfig .. it should prevent that from happening.

I don't have Routis/iGuidance to know details of the window, how to find it or test anything to get rid of the nag.. I'd suggest trying to find a direct EXE patch/hack for this.. depending on the type of the window, even resource hacker might take care of it..

Thanks for the response. I'll double check on my end as well about the +. As far as the Routis/iGuidance clicker... I know Frodo has done this with FrodoPlayer. Perhaps he'd be willing to help you out in creating something like this. We've already tried with ResHack to get rid of the nag screen, but no go.

I actually fixed the + bug (yes it was a bug). Sure thing, if you can get the intel/info off Frodo, I can definitely add it into the code. I just don't have how to implement it out of nothing (no software to try)..

hmm, i dont know what it is... but i did update from that link u sent me... weird.. could it be a skin issue? i dont see why though..

the video mode is still buggy and causes RR to get stuck inbetwen music player and video player...

btw, if i wanted to assign "Minimize" for girder, how exactly would you do that, i havent "learned" a button yet on girder. Could Ctrl-Alt-Del be learned to a single button as well?

I figured out about the vis coming up. I had it come up again when I would leave video, the vis would come up again. I opened up winamp and ran it directly. I simply disabled the vis in the config of winamp and the problem is gone. I just downloaded a version from your site but I'm still getting the select + bug.

Also, does anyone else get a real slow start up of RR when using the 'hide taskbar' feature? It seems like RR waits for a sec.. fights with the computer then hides the task bar. Usually takes about 3-5 seconds. This is not really a problem for me as I'll have the taskbar tucked away anyways. Just noticed it in trials on my desktop.

Simply uninstall them.

Dumb question time... set my night skin and day skin up but when I press the day night button only the Gamma changes... its bound to be me... just not sure what.
