I have done this, but the VIS never appears on the screen. I always have to click on it in the taskbar before it appears on the screen.

i dont know if you guys have seen this but sometimes i have to hit the Vis button like 4-5 times for the window to finally pop up in my audio playlist screen. Also, if anyone is running a M10K VIA... experienced any major lag issues? my vis starts pretty smooth but after a minute or so, it totally starts to lag... maybe a setting in winamp i need to change? thanks guys

I also have an Epia M10000 and it runs well. Maybe you have to change the number of frames/second to a lower number. I use 20fps and is runs perfect.

Do you also have the 'choppy' DVD problem?

I have AVS running on my desktop and milkdrop on my carpc.. this works for sure.. tell me (please number your answers):

    1.Which vis you're using ?
2.How you're selecting the vis in winamp ?
    3.What's your RR.INI setting for "visname=" ?
4.Which Winamp Version you use ?
5.Do you have wiamp set with the CLASSIC skin ?

Then I can better determine what's wrong.

I can't make your CPU speed faster.. the only thing I can recommend is to use AVS with the Pixel Doubling option OR another vis that doesn't use as much CPU. I don't know how I could check on the Choppy DVD stuff, the slowest machine I have is a Athlon 1.2Gh with an ATI ALL in Wonder in it (that has hardware acceleration).. the reson for this is (as I said before), MPC probably isn't set OR doesn't support the hardware acceleration you have (if any).

yeah... im not expecting much with my VIA cpu, there is a trade off for low power/lower heat cpu's!

    1) I use the Milkdrop vis
    2) choosed it in the option menu of RR
    3) visuname =!Winamp Gen! AVS (I don't know what this means)
    4) V5.05
    5) I use the default Winamp modern skin

My DVD's alway's play choppy, the only way to solve it is to use an external DVD player, I use PowerDVD. The only problem is that I can't use an external DVD player when I use the 'inorkuo' skin.
