You need a newer AVS version man... I use 2.81 and it has the option in the same screen. My winamp 2.9x also has Milkdrop.Originally Posted by contaygious

ah ok thanks guino, I didn't want to update winamp fearing that it would slow down or something i thought u meant to keep it like it was in 2.9. now I need to find AVS 2.81 hmmmm
looks like i wont be using road runner for a while my pc is fried
check out the thread above.
You don't have to use Winamp5... just download a newer AVS plugin for winamp 2.9x.. the one I tested came with mediacar (AVS 2.81).. I'm assuming that downloading the latest one will not slow you down any.. just remember to set your settings correctly..Originally Posted by contaygious
Whats wrong with the latest version of winamp? I am running 5 and dont seem to have any issues? Just wondering if I am missing out on something.
Nothing is wrong with Winamp 5, but 2.9x has a smaller footprint and some people are more familiar with the older interface (not that it's shown anyhow). It's one of those personal preference kind of things.
Nothing wrong -- I use it too.. but anybody with a slow machine should prob. use 2.9x because it is a whole lot faster and with basically the same features in RR.Originally Posted by pirate_king00
