I just stuck it in a folder in C, then stuck a shortcut in my startup folder... works a treat :-)

Where is the best install folder CDR??? right in the RR folder or on it's own... further, what about startup... i assume this should go in the startup folder before RR????Originally Posted by CdRsKuLL

Hello have you an OEM Head Unit ? and can you control RR with it or do you only use steering Wheel ?Originally Posted by BMVEE
CdRsKuLL posted pretty descriptive information above. This is configured for use with a carputer (Yes... I am using RR).Originally Posted by grave
It already works with an OEM headunit, and there is nothing you would require in that context since the car is shipped that way already.
Only the Steering wheel controls can control the PC the way CDR has done it.Originally Posted by grave
But if the Headunit can send out codes for different button presses it will/would be possible for those to be intercepted and acted upon.
Good thing you can read Enforcer... better answer than mine, Thanks!Originally Posted by Enforcer

Thanks for posting this, CDR. I have my carpc back from haiatus and am trying out RR; My old ibus app never really worked properly, so I'm glad you were able to make Franck Touanen's so flexible. He had told me of it, but I had never used it. I'll be trying this out in a minute, but I expect it will work without any tweaking
Edit: Well If I could get my ibus interface stuck off of com12 it probably would work; haha.. Anyway, though, it does not seem to work with suspend (and maybe hibernate as well) -- I think the app needs to close the port before suspend and reopen it afterwards.
CDRSkull: Did you have to modify the ibuscomm source code to make this work with RR? If so, do you have it posted somewhere that I can look at it to try to make it work w/ suspend/hibernate? Thanks
