Does anything else need to be done other than using the above files? No modifications to the KeyTBL.ini or anything? I had the ibus working with Frodo, and now I'm using RR with the exact files above (changed the com port to the one I'm using), and button presses make the RR screen flash a little, but no action. I'm sure I have something wrong somewhere, but after a few days of looking at it I've not figured it out.

hey guys are you using blitzsafe adaptors or some kinda aux adaptor to your cd changers..if so doesnt your aux adaptors plug into the ibus? if so which cord do you plug yours into...i have an aux adaptor that plugs into the sound but also plugs into the i bus cord...not sure if blitzsafe does but mine does. can anyone help me...im still tryin to figure out which i bus cord i plug into..i have 2 different sets of cords...cd changer ones...and then some other set which has a thicker connecter but also has a i bus cord.

it's it's actually a solit state device made by a guy in Germany that hooks directly into the iBus. Most people hook it into the CD changer port... because it's no longer needed and already in the trunk, but you can also hook it into the center console port.

The ibus cord is actually a small flat three wire plug.

if that's an ibus port... then yes. my car didn't have a phone in it, so I don't know if that's what it is (it would make sense there would be one back there for the brain though. You can try it, but I'd check the Yahoo group "Hacktheibus" or some E46 boards first just in case.

    v 2.0 Source

CDR - Any chance you could post the source for the hibernation support? My com ports tend to be 10+ and that requires a slight tweak to the original ibuscomm code..

Also - still no luck resuming from hibernation with your v2.0 - it stops responding. Disabling the USB/Serial in system:hardware and enabling it makes XP search for drivers - I just want the system to resume out of hibernation! Looks like I may have to tap in elsewhere and leave the CD player intact so that I can avoid having to hit the CD/Tape button when I start my car.

    Any help with this?

DO NOT PLUG YOUR PHONE JACK INTO THE IBUS CARD. It will likely fry your card at worst. AT best, it will not work. The phone jack, while the same connector as the ibus is NOT an ibus signal carrier and will NOT work.
