Open Source Skin Editor for RR

I'd happily make a couple of skins only I don't know how to make buttons in Photoshop like the ones in Febs skins and I'd like to find some decent icons like in Febs and others skins, I'm all psyched up with no icons to work with :-(

Wow, thanks for the great response! All the feature requests so far are great ideas. I hope you all can be patient waiting for the next release. It probably won't happen this week.

I am new to these forums, so I need some advice. I don't have a hosting service where I can put updated versions. How should I deliver them? by a new thread? new post in this thread?

UK_MP3Car... im in the same boat, i have so many great ideas, but no PS skills or icons/buttons for new features

maybe someone there could be one dedicated guy on here to make a bunch of buttons for all the features guino implements! Anyone up for the task?

Well The icons that feb had were from the webdings symbols in corel draw.
If you have corel draw then you can find them in the section

tools/ symbols and special characters/.

The zip file contains some icons in adobe illustrator format. This format is ideal for loading into photoshop and is what I use during my skinnning ventures.

You don't need to load any files... all computers have a wealth of icons available for use. Here's how:
Start -> run
Type charmap
Change the font to either webdings or wingdings 1,2,3
Find the icon you want and copy it
Create a text field in your respective editing program using the same font
Paste

Awesome little program, really helpful in adding guinos features to my skin.

Just a couple of little bugs, I get error messages "subscript out of range" when clicking on any item on the launch.skin file attatched & "type mismatch" for same thing in mixer.skin.

Am I missing something or just a small bug?

I have released version 0.2. Briefly, I have added all the features requested above and a few more that I thought would useful. The new files can be found in the original post.

One thing, Guino. The program now allows you to select button command codes and other parameters from a list. I am basing the command list on the "Skin Commands.txt" but it seems to be a little out of date. Is there a newer list available or should I scrounge them out of the RR source code?
