Me neither, just installed RR. I've tried disabling the built in player but still nothing happens when the video button's clicked. Media player classic works outside of RR.

I've even tried setting the default file associations to media player classic but that makes no difference either. The video browser just doesn't appear.

See if media player classic works outside of RR, then check if the correct directory is set in RR that points to it.

If you click video and NOTHING HAPPENS (the video player doesn't even appear) then you have some kind of skin issue.

If you click video, and the video player appears, but nothing is on there, it is very possible that you just don't have the path to your videos setup correctly..
If you have made sure this is setup correctly, then try changing the "Built in player" option in RRConfig...

Everytime you try the video player you should go into the video BROWSER and select the files to play -- because the resume information will probably be invalid from before.

The builtin player works with MCI (Windows API only) -- if it doesn't work it's something on your machine preventing it from working right.. If MPC works outside RR it should work in in RR as long as the path is correct (basically RR only controls it through the skin).

I'm using the brushmetalhonda skin that came with the installer, and on 2 different machines, car pc and laptop, the video browser doesn't appear. Media player classic works outside of RR and the paths are correct.

I'm going to give a try on the installer right now.. it may just be that there's a missing/damaged skin file in the install.. Have you tried a different skin at all ?
