    Mobile Navigator Notebook Integration

    Hi,

has anyone managed to integrate MobileNavigator Notebook 2002 into Road Runner?

    My problem is :
Keeping the start screen (Main menu with Navigation, Where am I, configuration, addresses etc..) in focus and maintaining visibility and accessibilitay of the RoadRunner interface works fine (The Object Name of the Window is "Mobile Navigator Notebook (my language)" ).
Unfortunately the Application opens a second window (for example "Enter Destination") when I select that menu item. Due to the aggressive way MMN draws its dialogues, it is focused and takes the whole screen, so the RR Menu is not accessible anymore.
My question is : is it possible to maintain focus and size of more than one window, is there a configuration issue or something I could take a look at ?

By the way, a button for launching any onscreen keyboard would be helpful aswell .

Thanks a lot for help of any kind!

Another example of badly written application, that is, making dialogs that use more than tha main window's space. There's nothing in RR right now to help you with that.. I might add a hovering button launch mode to run applications in full screen -- at some point.

Application OSK is already built in.. the OSK included is full screen, and the skin needs to have the button added.. we just need to get help from some skinners to fix this stuff up..

try to embed with the WCLASS ID not the windowname, you can get it with winspector,
this should prevent loosing focus of RR.

for osk use Click´n Type Keyboard.

anyone tried to customize the navigon skin yet?

    MN6 looks quite nice

Would be nice to move onto this from D3 if they do a PC version

can't tell, but it does look nice and slick with a TS friendly appearance.

Also has TMC, and full EU coverage. And '3D important buildings' on the map

It says it supports 5million POI's plus the user has the ability to add custom POI's from CSV's... Or did you mean the system for using/finding POI's on it sucks

Can it be any worse than D3

It may have changed then... I had a play with NCK5 and on that verison you had to buy an add on for custom POIs ... don't get me wrong - loads included.
