Right now, you can add to favorites in the Add Location screen.. middle button across the bottom.. search for a location or use the nearby feature, select the location you want to add, hit "ADD" and type a name for it... you can then use it in the route planning screen's "FAV" button ... you can delete what you want form that menu as well..

You can add the current GPS position into the favorites byt using the nearby function and adding the GPS position into the favorites as usual. Although it is a usefull thing to have direct access to, I didn't have time to find a spot for it.

hey g sorry, do i have to activate the select+ thing somehow, it still leaves the audio browser on its own after i push it. thanks

edit your exectbl.ini and add this lines:

"select+","!select+"

Ah - there it is! I totally missed that button off the side . Thanks.

There was a bug with release 4-4-05.. I forgot to comment out some test code for the GPS.. if anybody has issues with mappoint and version 4-4-05, please download this patch:

It's been working fine for me. What would the symptom be?

Feedback: I find the (sapi5) voice feedback too quiet. It's not a comparable volume level to the music so at high speeds tends to be difficult to hear even if the music was to be entirely muted. I haven't checked the API yet, but it would be nice if it was possible to make it louder.

I forgot to comment out the code that loads gps data from the gps.txt file.. in some systems that causes an error and prevents the GPS data from being read propperly (reporting no lock/blank readings).. the patch has it propperly commented out..

I'll hopefully have a few more things done today. I had to catch up with my job yesterday..
