    D-Link FM

    Hi Guino & Others,

I wanted to clear this: how well supported is the D-link usb radio in Road Runner? Is this equipment good for in-car use or not really? What other dedicated Fm tuners are recommended? USB, not very expensive=best...

My pixelview card just wont work with radiator, and I want something easy to config, I've run out of patience with that demon...

I don't recommend the Dlink if you use 2000/XP.. it is problematic the least... I am planning to add Radio with RDS support for the Cinergy Card (which is German), but I highly doubt Brazil's Radio stations support RDS as of right now.. If I were you, I'd look at Radiator's page for a list of supported cards, search for prices and compare features and make a choice. The only card I have is the D-Link.. Some users have been using the Hauppauge USB, I don't know how they're powering it (I think it needs external power).. You can most likely post this same question in the hardware forums.. As far as I know, FP and CF both use Radiator, so who uses radio in those front-ends, has gone through the same issue of finding a compatible card, and could give you some advice. I have an actual Radio in the Car (I use for Radio and AMP).

so i'm too late ... even if brasilian radio stations don't support RDS or RDBS (but i'm not sure), i can say that Terratec Cinergy 600 TV works really well either as a Tv and Radio card (after card reset option's been added in RR ). strong drivers and full radiator and winampTV plugin compatibility.
    Cheers.

Using Hauppauge WinTV-GO-FM (PCI) which is working well with both RR and Radiator/Winamp for both Radio and TV. It was cheap and easy to install. Guino was helpful with the last update and every thing is, in a word "Working".

    Good Luck to you all!

Is it possible to connect a PCI card to the EpiaM10000?
I mean, I know there is a slot for this purpose, but there is not enough space if you use the Travla box, isn't it?

depending on the case you have, you may need a pci shifter or rotational slot or leave the case open..
