Differences in mixer between RR and MC

I was noticing last night that the Winamp mixer between Mediacar and Roadrunner is different. In Mediacar, you can double-click a line and it will mute/unmute. Also, you can tap anywhere on the line and the level will jump to it, in RoadRunner it very slowly moves to where you click (you have to hold down). I noticed this because I tried to mute line-in with a double-click and it didn't work. I then tried to slide the bar and it went really slow...

I second that, sliders are slow but it comes up fast unlike MediaCar. I would also like the slider speed to change as well, unsafe in traffic trying to adjust the settings, don't want to CRASH!

I just never got around adding the mute control function.. it's very easy to add.. but the slider function is on purpose becase no matter what you say, it is horrible to have the sound "jump up" all of a sudden in to the position clicked at.. so I made sure this woudn't happen. This is a philosophical issue. I don't recommend using ANY sliders while driving.. instead, I'd recommend making mixer presets -- in that case the volumes will "jump" to a position you've alredy defined previously so there's no trial and error involved like "guessing" where to click on a slider to get the desired volume.

I thought this might be the reason...
