    AVS- Add a toggle button

I was wondering if its possible to add a button on a skin to toggle the AVS plugins, on MediaCar it cycled every 5 secs or so. I like the curent way RR works by keeping one until changed, but its a ***** on touchscreen to right click and pick another vis.

ThX, ill look more into it in the meantime

This is something you can set up on the AVS plugin itself.. I have mine changing every 3 seconds ...

I'm not sure if AVS supports hotkeys, if so, I can try adding something for it..

yea it supports hotkeys but only for specific visualizations. for example F1 for visualization#1 F2 for vis#2, you cant use a single hotkey to cycle though. This is at least what i have found out thus far. Maybe creating a button that would cycle F1-F12 and narrow your visus to 12. I could live with that to be able to cycle them more easily. Ill keep looking.

i tried setting it up to the numbers 1-9 but the OSK steals focus and therfore will not change the VIS. Any other options? Maybe a button that would call a small on screen board to pop up on the bottom of the screen with numbers 1-10 or whatever, just dont know how to keep focus on the VIS itself while doing this.

You can simply create a .skin file and load it with the menu command, then on this "menu" you should have codes like:

"EXIT||SENDKEY;<KEY>" for each button... this should produce the effect you want.

Do you have any suggestions for keeping focus on the VIS screen so the buttons will work the way i want. I remember reading a post on some other thread about routis i believe where someone had a problem keeping somethign in focus for a certain key to work, i think it was zoom, for a routis skin. I cannot find the thread now

ummm.. I'll add a command "GETFOCUS" so that you can add it behind any command you wish to execute and reaquire focus afterwards.. like "SENDKEYS;<WHATEVER>||GETFOCUS"

Then it whould allow you to keep focus when needed. This can also work for other situations..
