    Exit button suggestion

This is pretty simple but would be helpfull. How about, when the person pushes and holds the exit button for a certain amount of time, instead of doing the configured 'exit routine' it will show the exit menu. This way, people could have the exit button normally shutdown the computer, but if you hold it in, you get the options to exit the program, or hibernate, etc...

Not a bad idea... I'll look into it..

There's a minimize function, but hardly any skin impements it..

well, just create or edit a button on any of your skins to execute "MINIMIZE".. an example is if you don't use hibernate you can edit exit_menu.skin and change the line that says "HIBERNATE" to "MINIMIZE" .. or change any other button code if you wish.. You can even create an "invisible" button for that using the Open Source skin editor..

yep, pretty much... tell me something, do you want ANY exit button (of any screen) to perform the function you described (press=exit, hold=exit menu) or do you want just the exit menu do that ?

I think I'd like to be able to configure any button to have two actions - one for a quick press. One for a press and hold.

I've just started work on my own skin. I have lots of ideas but I suspect I'll have to make additions to RR to support them .

I was thinking just the main exit button. But it doesn't matter really. As long as the main menu exit action is still configurable in the options.
