guino, i tried using the SEARCHLIST command and it doesnt seem to do anything... ill use the OSK and type in a string i know i have in my playlist, and then i hit "enter" and nothing changes/filters in the list.... is there something i'm missing? is that feature even functional in 4-19 code? thanks!

i've also done some work on the skin i started... improved the osk and made other minor modifications. www.inorkuo.dynu.com/rr_clean_skin/800x480/
What you described to me makes perfect sense (now that I think of it).. I just need to add 1 (one) line of code to fix that..

    Hi Kevlar,

I'm sorry to "double-answer" and semi-hijack this, since I take from your post you paid for the software... Anyways, to help you out...

    - If you paid for the software, I would guess at least one of your phones is listed on the "Compatiblity List" on the phoco website (www.phonecontrol.net).
    - If you are a registered user and you own a device that is (at least somewhat) supported you can go in the phoco official support forum on the website listed in the point above. There you can ask the questions.

Since Zorro didnt say anything I think I can clear some things for the new users of Phoco that already use RR...(mostly for the US I think):

Phonecontrol depends on the phone itself to be able to give us the functionality that we expect from it (whether integrated to RR or standalone). However, many manufacturers have not integrated all the functions (some mfgrs dont send the caller ID when a call comes in, for example). The way that phonecontrol accesses the phones' features is through the AT commandset, which is supposed to be a standard but varies (unfortunately) for each brand (and sometimes each model/firmware version). For this reason, it is not due to bad faith on the part of Zorro that some phones dont work... Zorro really tries to add as much support as possible for as many phones as possible, but some phones (read: HARDWARE) dont have the capability of working with Phonecontrol...

For this reason I think that it is unfair to say things such as "Zorro is lazy and doesnt add support for XYZ phone"... The way that Phoco is made it is VERY configureable (trust me, I have tested with more than one phone brand/model) and can accomodate most (if not all) phones that can supply the data required for correct operations (phonebooks, dialing, answering, caller id, sms-es, etc)... All the variations for supported models can be set through the config file of phoco itself (some of this can be obtained from the phoco website or phoco config tool included in the demo install version or registered version).

OK, this became long. So here is a summary:

    - To get your phone working from withing road runner you need PhoneControl (www.phonecontrol.com)
    - Check the "Compatibility List" on the above website
    - If your phone is not compatible it is due to the reasons listed above, not due to bad faith from PhoneControl's author.

If you have never connected your phone to the computer with Phonecontrol you should have a look, download phonecontrol and have that working with the phone and only THEN use the RR Phone support.

This is probably the longest post I have ever made.... I am killing myself for speaking so much... sorry for the rant tone, I mean to help the people who are having problems... but Phone related problems should be directed to the PhoneControl forum.

hey guino... i can give you more details about that web browser OSK bug i told u about b4... basically it seems to happen when i launch the OSK from the Web skin (without hitting the "URL" button). you should maybe only allow the OSK when you are in a text box perhaps... or at least allow the user to get back to RR from OSK, cause it gets stuck there with IE hanging and u have to CTRL-ALT-DEL RR.exe to and relaunch it. hope that helps! thanks again
