    Radio - little bug?

    Hey Guino,

I just tried out Radio tonight, and I have a small thing to ask if it is just on my system or if it is a bug...

When in Radio screen, I click on manual entry for frequency, then I type in the frequency and tap Enter... that works fine... but if I make a mistake I cant clear the typed numbers, and if I click enter then try and open the dialog again to enter a new frequency the old one is already entered and there is no way to "backspace" or clear... this is using the brushmetal radio screen... is there a button that is missing from the screen or is it a small thing which needs to be added? Maybe it would be possible to clear the frequency for next use whenever we press enter?

I run into this issue with zipcode entry for MapPoint as well. If you type the zipcode and find that you entered it wrong you can't clear it. It keeps appending to the current one. The only way I found to clear this is to exit RR and restart. You probably find the same for radio.

Yeah.. this was a bug introduced with Phoco Support ... I've alredy fixed it for next version.. the skin CAN have a clear/back button, it just doesn't right now.. but in any case it is supposed to come up blank everytime you go into it.

    Thanks Guino,

    one more for you....

When storing a radio frequency, if I make a mistake and click on BACKSPACE (on OSK), I get some change in the radio... couldnt pinpoint what it was, it is as if it changed bands (I know it isnt possible cause the card is FM only, but I hear static), press BACKSPACE again and I return to normal tuning of the appropriate freuqncy...

Might this be a problem that radiator is catching the "BACKSPACE" and treating it as some toggle-hotkey? I didnt find a way of removing hotkeys from Radiator... dont know if it is RR or Radiator then...

Also, I notice a quick flash of radiator and winamp (even in wnamp hide mode) when I enter radio... is this normal or is it my setup?

    Thanks for everything!

I let them "flash" because I need them to show for debugging.. it's likely that once I stop developing on them I'll make them run hidden from the start.

On your keys issue, check your KeyTBL.ini.. if you have assignments for the spacebar or backspace -- they'll likely be executed even in the OSK screen.

Guino, I have a feeling my settings may be wrong,

    but:

    1) after hibernate, radio is stopped if it is running... I need to go to music, then go back to radio to "restart" radiator and get radio working again...
    2) also noticed only after hibernate, radio is playing and music starts playing at the same time... if I go back to music, music is playing... even if I pause the music, and go to radio, music starts playing at the same time as radio...??? this is driving me crazy.... what setting have I got so wrong?

My radio is through Line IN...

I'll do some tests and let you know... but if you use the line in plugin it probably will work right..

even for the hibernate issue where it stops the radio when i hibernate in radio and hibernate out back into radio with no sound?

I'll give that a try! thanks!

PS: but shouldnt winamp be paused/stopped anyways when radio is going? I wouldnt want to stop a CD, go to radio, and then loose the point on the CD that I was listening too?
