    Anyone doing this for video/audio?

I was thinking that while driving and a video is playing that it could output to the headphones so a passenger could watch while I'm still listening to music through the main speakers. BUT, if I want the video audio out to the main speakers it could be an easily selection on the menu to output to MAIN instead of HEADPHONES.

Anyone doing separate audio outs like this where it can be easily selectable from a menu?

Thanks, I saw the dual cards. I wonder if it's possible with a single card that has a line out and a headphones out jack.

    Thanks

Single cards with multiple otput *TYPICALLY* have only one ouput processing, meaning the output of sound on both connectors would be the same "information"... Unless your card shows as more than one "device" in control panel's sound settings, you'd need an extra card ... I'll probably test something like that whenever I get around testing dual monitor support etc..

a cheap USB soundcard is usually a safe option. They are designed to work with exisiting audio devices.
