Need to get Road Runner

After a long time running Destinator 3 with Media Car, I decided a full scale upgrade to RR and Map Monkey was required.

However, I can't get hold of Road Runner, has anyone got a version available for download, the official site seems to have a bandwidth problem.

There is a bandwidth problem with this site.

I have managed to get a copy now.

Can anyone tell me can I use a directory listing for music like Media Car, or does Road Runner only support Playlists ??

That's not using the latest release is it? It says it copies roadrunner files as of 5/12/2005. The latest is 5/28/2005.

Anyone got the latest version?

Look at the download FAQs.. if you install the installshield version, you can upgrade it using the update tool included.

Umm.. I'll look into the bandwidth issue.. this is a "donated" space.

Hi,

The only problem I have with this is, that I download to a desktop that is protected, then transfer to CarPC using USB drive. I want to keep the CarPC isolated.

Can you answer me this, can RR supprot directory music browsing and selection, or is it playlist only ??

Guino ... Have you ever used tomtom software ? What ya think of it ? If I was to buy this product http://www.ciao.co.uk/TomTom_Navigat...737451/TabId/4 could it work with road runner ?

I don't know what you mean... The only way RR works right now is exactly like Mediacar. I'm currently working on database support, which will just be an option to improve the browsing of files. It is possible to make a skin for RR which will play "direct" from a directory listing, but I don't know of any skin that does that.
