I'm sure they could. But if your question is 'can that be made to run on a PC', the answer is no. It looks like that is just the SDK. You'd have to buy the actual product and it sounds like the product is CE only.

But does it say that the tomtom sdk wont work under the PC? (in a similar fashion as Destinator only exists for PPC, but SDK can be used to make PC apps?)

The TOMTOM SDK system requirements are windows xp/2000 etc. I have emailed tomtom to ask them to clarify this. You can also use the tomtom sdk to embedd .NET applications which as far as I am aware they are for PC only at the moment

You can write .NET apps for CE devices. There's a whole compact framework thing that runs on the smaller devices. It's normal for CE SDKs to be run on the PC - that's where you do your development.

But it's certainly possible you might also be able to target a PC like the Destinator scenario. But that's a very unusual scenario so I wouldn't bank on it unless you get concrete confirmation from the TomTom folks that it will work.

If it would work on PC then that would be great. Frankly, Destinator's routing sucks, and iNav doesn't feel like dedicating resources to an SDK
