I didn't think the windows mobile SDK stuff emulated ARM processors and the like, and I didn't know there was an x86 PPC version of Tom Tom.

EDIT: Just found out there is an arm emulator version, see below

I've got the ppc/Arm version of D3 working on it.

Also got it running 640x480

How did you install it ? or did you just copy the files ?

The D3 installer was looking at battery level, which it couldn't find on the PDA thru activesync, so I had to copy the files across manually.

However this was no different to copying files to a PDA, I was using activesync to do all this.

Go Stevieg...!!! Typically i am watching this all unfold whilst traveling...!!! so have not been able to install the standalone version.. Looking forward to getting home tonight to try with TOMTOM.

Steve, what's the system resource looking like, any issue..? will it cope with running alongside / embedded in RR...?

Tom Tom looks like it works, I need to try GPS with it though, I havent tried it on the Car PC yet through but it's more CPU intensive than previous PPC emulators simply because it's emulating a RISC processor.
