First time you start it, command line options are similar to:
DeviceEmulator.exe PPC_2003_SE\PPC_2003_SE_WWE_ARMv4.bin /video 800x600x16 /sharedfolder D:\SHARED\PPC /u0 com1 /vmname PPCEmu /s myPPC.bin /nosecurityprompt
after that, to restore the image (like if you turn a PPC on and off etc)
DeviceEmulator.exe /video 800x600x16 /sharedfolder D:\SHARED\PPC /u0 COM1 /vmname PPCEmu /s myPPC.bin /nosecurityprompt
where COM1 is the com port and D:\SHARED\PPC is the directory to use as media card.
myPPC.bin is the 'stored' file that contains the state

Well ladies and gentsIt seems that the pda emulator and the tomtom version 5 software works. Picks up the USB GPS RECEIVER as long as the emulator is configure to COM3 Serial Port 0 (Or what ever com port your usb device is) and then in TOMTOM configure for OTHER NMEA DEVICE and select Serial Com port 1
Works like a charm
Thanks to all![]()

Great news, have you guys had a chance to check how much resources this emulator takes?
Standard is roughly 96MB of memory usage, about 5% when running pocket PC, upto 100% when using tom tomOriginally Posted by affie
