Yeah right.. I suppose you've tried routing in it with a Live GPS?Originally Posted by theboogieman
it does support the gps but it has to be a serial type not a usb for some reason, but it will support a bluetooth gps aslong as you set up the emulator for a gps handheld

i've used both usb and serial and only the serial worked, the usb only updated the screen about 2 times a min
Cool, I'll try it as soon as I'm back from holiday. Off to curacao for a few weeks.Originally Posted by theboogieman

I don't know what is your problem guys, but it take 30-40 sec to calculate a long route on a celeron d 2.4 ghz and about 10 sec for a short route.
That is with tom tom 5.
Yeah, is that normal? If you're used to MapPoint's 3-4 seconds and Destinator's near instant makes it feel like an age, especially if you auto-re-route.Originally Posted by 00christian00

Well,it would not be normal, but hell if that is not usable!
Were are you going in such a hurry, not even taxi do need faster times![]()
OK, you miss a turn by accident or decide you don't want to go that was as it looks congested.. You don't want to wait 30 seconds for it to re-route..Originally Posted by 00christian00
Either way, I'm not gonna sit there for 30 seconds waiting for it just to generate a new route when I could be doing something better!

Hello guys,
You may have already answer to this question (perhaps) ? But i didn't found any information about placing the maps for TomTom. When i open the program on the emulator everything works fine but at the end he tells me he didn't found the maps. So i would like to know where i should place those maps. Can somebody tell me how to do it.
Greetz from Belgium
