    Run program on standby/resume?

Great front end -- does everything I need it to (and more). FP also has an option to run a process on resume from hibernate/standby. Would this be easy to implement? I would like to use it to reenable USB devices that don't make it through the suspend operation (SB Extigy in particular)
Run programs on hibernate/suspend and resume! is great but it's not quite there yet...

It's easy to add, and I probably will add an option on ExecTBL.ini to run any command(s) of your choice before and after a hibernate event. Tou could then run a command to reset the sound card after hibernation, although this is pretty messed up that you actually need it to be rese since most USB devices restart themselves (some just need more time than others).

Awesome! Thanks. I agree, it *is* messed up. A lot of people have problems with SB Extigy. In this case everything works fine -- the Extigy will resume from standby -- but only with 'partial' CMSS capability: the front panel CMSS light is off on resume, though CMSS is still activated on the wave/CD/etc. channel. CMSS does not resume, however, on the SPDIF (Toslink) input. If I disable/enable the device after resume it comes back with full functionality on all channels.
I had also asked yesterday about using the line-in plugin as a workaround, but this seems more complicated since the Extigy does not let one record from the SPDIF channel.
    Thanks again -- you rock!

Hey -- and not to be pushy, but any ETA on when this might be implemented? I'm planning a road trip for July 4 and would like to get this issue resolved, once and for all. Road Runner, btw, works fantastically in all situations I have tested -- this is solely a hardware issue with the Extigy.

OK, turns out disabling/enabling the device won't work on standby/resume. It seems that when I do so RR loses communication with my soundcard and can no longer control volume, mute, etc. Is it possible to have it reinitialize? Thanks for looking into it, and for your patience.
