FCC says that all stations are on the odds, therefore most radios I've seen restrict you to odd tuning. What the heck station are you trying to listen to?
Ok,
i have the Dlink DU-R100, radio works and i can pick up stations, but it seems i can only tune in to frequencies that are odd number.
eg, there is one station i want that is 102.6, but when i try to tune it in, or enter the frequencie using the keypad, it jumps to 102.5 or 102.7![]()
any ideas?
Thanks.
edit: forgot to say, i am using the drivers provided in RR and have rr set to use dlink, not using radiator.

I have heard of no stations with even numbers...
Carputer status: [-*---------]
Im thinking laptop...
Yup FCC limits broadcast station to odd numbers. HOWEVER, most RF Modulators that work within buildings and such function on the even bands. For instance, the RF Modulator that allows gym members to tune the sound of the TVs over the treadmills are usually in the 102.6, 97.4, etc. neighborhood. It's kind of a PITA but to use these devices you've gotta either go analog or find a digital player with a odd/even step.
Erm... there is more out there than the US
He is from the UK. The "only odd" frequencies limitation is a US "invention"
Bye Joerg
Most possible it is in "US mode" .
Check configuration, manual and change it to "Europian mode".
but yeah i guese thats the problem, ive never noticed a setting to change it to uk though, will have a look tonightIn Europe, the FM stations are spaced 100 kilohertz apart instead of 200 kilohertz apart, and they can end on even or odd numbers.

I had the same problem with my HU, each time I disconnect the car battery.
It defaults to "US mode".
"US mode" has less frequencies than "Europian mode". E.g:
88.1 - 88.3 - 88.5 ...
88.00 - 88.05 - 88.10 ...
in RR config theres a setting in the radio for even numbers.. Allow tuning of all freq <-- tick that
CdR
thanks cdr, will do that tonight.
