    Volume turns off

    I don't know if anyone eles has this problem....
    If I raise the volume beyone 75% or so there is no sound , my thinking is my sound's a cheap card I had laying around...
    Just incase I have a JBL 4 ch and a Sony 2ch(for lows)

    I only use the volume at 100% on the computer, so I doubt it is a software issue.. it's possible that your sound card's driver only supports volumes up to so much... I'd suggest trying to upgrade the driver or get another PCI card fo $10 that will not have the same issue.. you can always try a different card from another computer.. but it very likely is something with the card/drivers..
