    Roadrunner volume

    No matter what skin I use for roadrunner the volume buttons and sliders don't work. Is it maybe the version of winamp i am using (5.03)?

    If you have a cheap sound card, you may have to MAP the master volume into an audio line in RRConfig. You can try to control the mixer volumes in the mixer screen.

    Also, make sure that you do NOT have winamp LITE.

    Shoudn't be a cheap card, although it is likely to give you troble for being USB... in any case, that tells me that you probably have more than one sound card and therefore you have extra steps to make RR work with it: 1-Setup the DEFAULT Sound Card in Control Panel to your SB card. 2-Setup Winamp to use that Sound Card in its options (outside RR)..

    I already set up winamp to use the SB card, but i can't for the life of me figure out how to make the SB card my primary/default card. Do you thinkk you could tell me how to do it step by step or maybe a link that does?

    Dude:

    1-Start->Settings->Control Panel
    2-D. Click Sounds and Audio Devices
    3-Click the Audio Tab
    4-Select the PREFERRED sound device on the top of the window
    5-Hit OK.

    Now anything that just tells windows to play/control sounds, will play to/control the PREFERRED sound card unless it's already busy or unavailable.

    when i select the audio tab everything is greyed out and I can't select anything. I'm guessing this is something I removed with nlite and i'm going to try to "repair windows" and see if anything works for me then.
