    <PhoneControl.NET>1.4.5.29756<BatteryStatus value="70" /><SignalQuality value="3
    This could be the problem right here.. seems that Phoco is creating incomplete messages there.. the signal quality tag is incomplete and there's no </phonecontrol.net> tag.. unless you cut the data yourself, this would prevent RR from parsing those messages.. is that the latest Phoco ?

    Sorry Hyperterminal seems to write over the end of the line when it has wrapped it with the next line.

    here is the correct line

    Code:
    <PhoneControl.NET>1.4.5.29756<BatteryStatus value="50" /><SignalQuality value="3
    1" bars="6"/></PhoneControl.NET>
    version is in the line above

    Just tried sending a command from Hyperterminal to dial a number

    Code:
    <PhoneControl.NET>
    <Dial number="07788414287"/>
    </PhoneControl.NET>
    and it worked fine.

    Definitely seems to be a problem with RR not able to connect to Phoco through the port.

    What port are you using in hyperterminal ? also, I hope Hyperterminal is CLOSED when you're trying to use RR.

    Is there a way of testing the input/output of RR like there is with phoco (ie hyperterminal or something)?

    Well I think you can just log in the PhoCoLog.txt and see what RR send if I am not totally mistaken
