*Problem:*
Ibus runs perfectly fine with the file that CDR have created.

However, after hibernation and teh system tries to restart back up the system hangs and does not start back up. I have to manually turn teh system off and then turn it back on.

I am also using RR version 6/03/06

The newest version has too many bugs that i can;t seem to overcome..

Also using Lloyd's simplistque skin.

Don't know what his solution was.

In this case, it is an extra LETTER in your ibuscomm.ini file. Check it and find the extra letter or character outside of the quotes. That or restore to another default ini file. Thanks for finding the error. I am a bit confused though, do you mean i have to search the entire .ini file for the extra character?

couldnt you please just tell us where that "extra LETTER" is?

I have a problem coming back from hibernation too.

I thought it was the iBus...wasn´t...was my sirius module...

Anyhow, if anything (preferably USB) is preventing your machine to come back from hibernation, DEVCON is what you need, check out this thread by V8 Scimitar. He´s guiding you through the process of setting up your computer to disable before hibernation and enable after hibernation any USB device that could jam this process.... just awesome!!!

Hi all,

Is there any way to map keyboard strokes (e.g. F1, F2 etc) to CdR's modified IBUSComm.exe, and have the PC send the specific I-Bus commands to the I-Bus?

Within CdR's GUI, I can send commands via the drop down menu, but am looking for a way to map this to specific keyboard strokes.

Something like an ini file would be great!

KeyTBL.ini is an interesting approach. Does it support the ability to map keyboard commands and send I-Bus messages? I understand KeyTBL.ini's ability to send RR commands, but for my experiment, I need to send I-Bus messages.

Look for a plugin called iBusRR that was setup up to allow control of windows and lights, I'm sure other commands can be added.

Then it is a matter ao marrying the two (KeyTBL.ini, iBusRR) together.
