I am running through a wireless router, but I am not sure if I have the firewall running. I think I might.

I will have to mess around with it some more. Is there a standard proxy setting I could use in my I.E. to let RR access the weather, or is it dependent on what firewall you have and the setup.

    Thanks.

Well I just set it up on my PC at work the same way I did on my laptop at home, and it worked perfect the first time on my PC at work. So their must be something with my wireless router and firewall I need to figure out.

    Thanks.

I have read through these 3 pages and it brought a couple questions to mind...I am curious about the reload feature. Can it re-sync and update automatically when there is a wifi connection?

The reason I ask is I am very new to this (and before the negative comments are made, I am reading as much as I can as fast as I can trying to ingest and catch up), I want to transfer my new files and cache my favorite webforums as soon as I start my truck in the morning. Can this be done with weather too? Or if I am at a redlight in front of someone's house with a wireless router, automatically update these things?

Like this forum, gmail, tv listings, cnn news website, and of course the weather.

Also the comment above about only needing radar, you mean for weather? The weather radar is basically an animated gif usually right? So you could overwrite that gif file on your computer and remap a button to display an image or am I wrong?

Not currently, but this is planned to be implemented ... right now, all you can do is open it on the webbrowser by using your favorites/bookmarks..
