Putting together Kit145 Temperature Data Logger

For anyone who is using this kit for temperature:

My husband is assemblying the kit for me, and he wants to make sure about the Farenheit/Celsius link before he does it. Do you just solder a wire from the F hole to the center hole to make it Farenheit?

    Thanks,
    Leslie

I suggest leaving it completely unplugged -- it will default to Celcius (which has a better range in temperature)... it's easier and works better..

Is that the right way to do it though?

Yes.. I've tried it.. just have to solder a wire from Center to F or Center to C... but it is unecessary.. as I said, just leave it empty (so it will send data in C) and then set it to display in F (in RRConfig)..

Okay, I get it now. Thanks, I forgot that RR would convert it for me.

    Thanks!
