    Unmuting Line-In Every time

Hi, I'm new to RR, and I must say, its quite a piece of software. I really like how it looks, and especially like the way it functions and embeds. I have XM Radio, and am currently using FrodoSatelliteXM, and for it to work, it is required to mute the Line-In. I guess somehow, when I was configuring RR, something got screwed up, and XM doesn't work, and everytime i adjust the volume or something, the XM line gets unmuted. What settings do I have to change to stop this? THanks again!

Changing the volume of the audio line (IN RR) will forcebly unmute it. But it will unmute only that line you're changing. You should control the volume using FrodoXM when you're using it. As long as you stay away from RR's mixer when using FrodoXM, you should not have any trouble -- RR will definitely not touch anything with the mixer (unless you do it manually).

I'm talking about when I'm not using FrodoXM. Like I get noise when it gets unmuted, so I keep it muted. When I'm using RR, and I turn the volume up, it gets unmuted. Is there any way to prevent this, just so I don't hear any noise?

Which volume are you turning up and which volume gets unmuted ?

IF you are turning up the LINE IN (or the line you use for XM) and THE same line gets unmuted, the question I have is: Why are you turning up the volume of something you don't intend to use ? if u wanted to use it, it woudn't be muted would it?

No, I'm turning up the MASTER VOLUME, so I can hear like the sound coming from RR from like a song on my hard drive. When I turn that up, the line in gets unmuted and turns itself up.

Well, do you by any chance have the master volume mapped to "All Lines" in RRConfig ? That's the only way this would happen "on purpuse" (and is an option for weak/cheap sound cards only). Make sure the master volume is mapped onto Master (disabled) and try again... only by moving the line in slider is when it should unmute it.
