    RR first impression

I just got back from about 700 miles of driving, separated into 3 trips of several hours each.

I didn't have my xenarc until just before the trip, so I was literally installing and configuring the frontend at 10pm the night before. I installed centrafuse and ran into a few issues, not least of which being that Street Atlas refused to imbed. Running out of time, I gave up on that and installed RR.

After spending 10 minutes filling things in in RRConfig, I had it up and running, music played fine, and street atlas was working fine. (top of the window was cut off by the RR bar at the top, but that didn't cause any problem)
And what's more, in this whole trip, it didn't suffer a single hiccup. My previous carPC setup would be lucky to survive a half-hour trip without a problem... so needless to say I'm very impressed!

So I just wanted to say thanks. You've got a new user, and now I'm anxious to play with other things, like the CD ripping, getting the music volume to lower when the GPS software is giving voice directions, and playing with skins. guess it's time for me to and
But don't take it from me! here's a quote from a real, live newbie:

Welcome. If you are impressed with RR upon first install let me tell you, you haven't even seen why RR is the best FE out there yet! It is immensely configurable and easily the best-supported FE on the site! Guino is here Constantly answering Qs and updating. Check out Skin commands.Txt found in your RR directory
Its not the cards you're dealt, its how you play the hand!
