I can't friggen stand WMP.
Using nLite, I've slipstreamed WMP completely out of all my XP installs. I dont want to see that ugly beast on any of my systems.
Winamp works great. Keep it please.

Old thread maybe but I have to ask, what happend to the thought to integrate iTunes into RR? Would it be possible to play bought songs from iTMS in RR IF you manage to integrate iTunes into RR instead of Winamp (Winamp sucks).
I know iTunes eats memory, but wouldn't 512 mb RAM be able to handle iTunes and more applications via RR? The ultimate thing would be to be able to choose which mediaplayer (of iTunes or Winamp) should be used to play the music?
I'd love to have iTunes instead since I'm a big Apple-fan.![]()
Awesome (writing this on a 17" Powerbook G4)![]()

IMHO, itunes is much worse than winamp.... itunes keeps a service running on my computer, it is a ***** to uninstall, leaves a ton of processes running, its a POS...
If anything I think FLAC would be the best route.... (basically built into the application, it is a programming library)

Any ideas for putting a PC in this? :)
Isn't there a FLAC plugin for winamp? You could probably already do that, just specify the .flac extension in RRConfig... not sure though.
nobody can argue against itunes for playing media on a normal computer. It is very intuitive to use, organizes all the media on your computer, supports burning as well as internet radio, smart playlists, album art, and media sharing. It is an all-in-one app that will always have a space on my hard drive![]()
