Thread: RR Link not working

The update tool only works when RR was installed through the installshield.

The link for the installshield is not updated and needs to be fixed (I have no control over it)... Check the Install FAQ thread for the working link.

Sorry, I have nothing to do with the update tool, I have no code, no info and no way of debugging the issue... the message suggests that you uninstalled an application and it removed a control the update tool needed, but I have no way of figuring it out ... you should try to talk to 'drait' about it..

I had the same problem at home, I couldn't download from Guino's site, but at work I can fine.

I've just moved and am awaiting a reconnection of broadband.

could be your ISP's DNS settings

I suspect that the ActiveX error is because my PC (for whatever reason) is unable to connect to the sites where RR is hosted. I've tried the MPUG site too and thats the same...

Fair enough if the update tool doesn't work but I can't even download the Binaries anymore. All Guino's other links and downloads work fine except for RR binaries
