Those images are updated every so many few minutes.. I'm sure they have images from around the world too.. but with this autoit script, you'd only need to change the address of the image to pull it to whatever you want it show.. Pretty cool idea btw..

I was looking for a while on a way to turn gps coordinates into a real weather radar, and this is the farthest I got:

It has an option to overlay the radar images.

That's pretty cool, I do intend to integrate the GPS info with the weather.. I just need to find time to do it..

if anyone is looking for some good radar software or weather maps you can get some from my webpage www.radarsoftwareonline.com. If you register you can get your local forecast as long as you provide one. Feel free to use these for your setups.

I know its a kludge, but I use a program called Weather Exchange from the launch skin. If I didn't have full time internet access, I couldn't do it, but it gives me all the maps (including animated ones from weather.com). It does require a signup to download the software the first time, but is extremely detailed, comprehensive, and up to date.

Chuck, like the radar pictures that you get off the net. I want to add a button on my 5 day forecast skin like yours. So that it goes off and gets the radar piccies for the uk.

Have looked and can sse that it has something to do with the "img" command and the autoit.

How do you do it??

any help would be appreciated.
