Using FreeDrive SDK

I know I read something about the Freedrive SDK possibility.

Problem I do have now is that I can't use Xport with my (bluetooth) GPS.
Is it possible to get those route information in my skin using the SDK? and even more important.. how? I want to use it in my audio_player.skin to show directions, speed and ETA/ETR. If so.. do I have to launch FreeDrive at startup?

This is very possible, in fact, FD's SDK is based on the same SDK functions in RR, so you just need to place the labels you want in the skin, tell FD to send the data you want to RR (FD's SDK.INI) and whenever FD and RR are running this info will be updated. You can also place the "DIRECTION" indicator on your skin(s) and if FD sends the next maneuver, RR will update the picture.. You do need the MM_* files on your skin before the directions work. You should read about FD's SDK in FreeDrive's forums..

I just don't get it. I read the readme/sdk.ini form CDRSkull but I just can't get data on my screen.. I posted my roadrunner config screen.
I use this on my .skin file:
L,500,300,200,40,255,255,255,14,"Arial","SETLABEL; FDSPEED",

I can't make up what to use to display the wanted label..

Your confusing commands and label codes, you should read the stuff described on Skin Commands.txt, not just the description of each thing.

If you change your definition above to ...,"Arial","CUSTOMFDSPEED","" and FD is propperly setup it should work ...

yeah make sure as Guino said, that in the sdk.ini in the freedrive folder you have the app name you want the info sending to.. so to send speed to RR you would have

FDSPEED=RoadRunner

can't wait to finish my skin (flash)

only thing I miss are the directions, I mean the images which are visible in freedrive |-> It's not really a miss, but that will make it more complete.

In your .skin use:

I06,690,390,100,100,"DIRECTION"

to display the direction indicators. In your skin directory you should have the MM_*.jpg available.
