    RR Skinner bug

    RR Skinner seems to be causing lockups in XP SP2.

    Something to do with graphics as it happens most when mouse over options are on...

    Thought this would be the right place to mention another bug I have seen for a while now.

    When typing in the command field in the object parameters window, the [...] seems to cover up the last 3 or 4 characters of the field.

    No big deal, but it would be nice to see the whole string so I don't have to open the *.skin files in my text editor to make sure I typed everything correctly.

    Thanks

    Talk to PROFIT to see if he can help.. I did not make the Skinner program, and don't intend to work on it for awhile either. PROFIT has made a couple of tweaks lately.

    Check out my RR Skining tutorial in the RR Skins section, there's a link to Profit's Skinner program there.

    Edit: no don't check there, just click here.

    @Profit , if your reading -

    after more use my lockups only tend to happen as the graphics blink when you move selection regions over the graphics... HTH

    i didnt know rrskin editor was developed independantly (not by guino)
    so when there is a new version of RR, does it also include updated versions of skineditor or do i have to download them from somewhere else?

    The skineditor doesnt have that many releases afaik... you can update the command list in it as it is a TXT file, but I usually just type commands by hand... (and also resizing, although this might b a bit harder)

    0.303 seems more buggy than 0.3

    it hangs as soon as I try and load a skin now

    Rebooted PC more times tonight than I have for over a month...

    wow, flash playing... thats cool... My one dislike or feature suggestion would be an (option/possibility) of dragging items/elements much like in VB...
