As the title suggests, I haven't been able to get the CD-rip function to work with my setup.
My cd/dvd rom is an external slim drive, in a firewire enclosure. It works great for dvd's and cd's, so I know it works!
I went through the FAQ, tried what was listed (installing the drivers, which didn't do a whole lot).
Heres the problem:
When I open up the CD-Rip program (standalone, or embedded) it opens, but will not pull any info from the CD. I never see any tracks, or anything.
Any suggestions? (Please no.. "SEARCH" responses... I have, with no luck)
I have a firewire enclosure and it works. How many dvd/cdrom drives do you have installed? if more then one did you specify which number it was in the order showen in the ini. Did you even see the drive label in the ini (forgot the name) in the CDRIP directory. I got an aspi error at first. I had to get the aspi driver that guino posted and put it in the system32 directory.

Yes, I seem to remember seeing it in the ini. (I'll double check tomorrow)
I installed the ASPI stuff before even attempting to use the CdRip app, so I've never gotten that error.
Kiztope I can tell you that I wasn't available to make CDRip work with the ASPI.DLL that guino has in his FAQ, I had to use nero's WNASPI.DLL.
Just a thought.

Nope is not. (is a different one, from NERO folder)
