RR + TT Sirius Setup

I am having trouble setting up Sirius in RR. I have verfied that my hardware is working, TimeTrax works and the radio is activated. I managed to find out how to change the skin to point to the siruis interface. Once the interface comes up I get a blank playlist area and when I try to add the window that comes up is also empty. What am I not doing? I looked all over for a Sirius/RR FAQ but came up empty handed. Thanks for your help.

Now when I open the siruis radio screen it shows my music playlist. Are there any how-to's out there for sirius. I will try FrodoPlayer and see if I can get it to work.

All you need to do is set the Serial port to the right location and it should work.. that is, as long as the protocol is the same... I have only tested it with Mitch's Interface, but in theory, anything that allows serial comminication direct to the Sirius device should work.. maybe if you can get a portmon log of the communication of the TT software with the sirius board I could try and identify any problems.. you can get portmon at www.sysinternals.com ..

I posted a log of my TT dongle comm a little while ago. Mitch has also updated his DLL to communicate with it. I'd love to see this merged in with RR.

I'll see if I can get in touch with Mitch to get the source on his new code.. I re-did the code in RR based on the original code he had with his prototypes...

Thanks for helping look into this. Here is a copy of my portmon log file. I started logging then opened TT and let to play for a minute. It looks like most of it is the updates for station info. I wish I had seen Pyrotek's post two weeks ago. Any help would be great. I plan on contributing some cash.

Sorry, but I'd need the first events (opening the port)... and it'd be more useful in Hex data... anyway, I need to talk to MitchJS as he seems to have made support for this in his software.

I appreciate you guys looking into supporting the TimeTrax module. I think I will take it as a lesson learned and order MitchJS's interface. Thanks again.
