as far as the usb video thingy... my biggest concern is if it's going to display right side up even if my main video is rotated sideways...... with my main display turned sideways it also turns the vga out from the motherboard sideways.... I'm hoping this will be seperate & not affected..... haven't had the time to play though
This is actually our next project, I also know that MobileImpact wants to get this going on this as well.
I'll definetely let you know, I have a Limoshow to go this week in AC and after that is full-on!

Using Ol33l's SkinBedder would be an interesting concept but internal would be perferred. When I think of multiple monitors, I think of seeing different stuff on different monitors. I want to be able to see the GPS in the front of the car and movies or VISU in the back (depending on which is playing). Primiarily the GPS will be shown in the front but there may be times that I may want to see the movie and/or VISU in the front....

    Update on USB VGA thingie!!
The thing works pretty good for GPS, the only use which I would really recommend it other than maybe browsing.
It is slow for video, and DVD won't play at all, but for people that want a front GPS solution while the back is a frontend, this is great.
    Three issues I have found:
    1) iG doenst work in full screen because it tries to go to primary monitor and goes over RR or other frontend.
    2) You can Maximize iG and use it like that on a secondary monitor, it was giving me issues where I had to place it constantly but I think is because the program is not set to start in maximized (ez fix).
    3) Video conflict, I have the intel video utility which will not work with the USB; so I disabled it and use only the USB-VGA utility. There are fewer choices than perhaps the nvidia utility, but it's ok for now.
There are no settings to restrict a certain application to run on one monitor, is there some kind of freeware that will do that???

Did you try video at 640x480? any use?

I imagina 800x600 is what you mentioned right? Does it support C-sync? and custom timing options for use with a psone?

It does support 640, but I dont know w/ c-sync is; unless u mean CPU sync.
The settings are quite limited, there is only USB(mirror, extended, off) and that's it.
SInce it doesnt work well with others, and others won't work with it, Im' afraid the options are limited. I'd love to see what someone with nvidia driver would be able to do with this.
Therefore, it serves my purpose; I'm trying to do setups with GPS in the front and interface in the back...
