Hello again. I downloaded UBoard and copied the extracted files to RR. I got it all working for Streets and Trips 2006. I rebooted and then when I pressed the button, nothing happened...
So I tried to open it outside of RR, and it said that it was not a valid Win32 application. So I redownloaded and replaced the files. It worked until I rebooted. Then again, it stopped working same message. So I extracted the files again, and it worked!!!
I don't want to reinstall it everytime I boot up. Anyone know what is causing this??

I do have the .NET framework installed. I don't think it would even run if I didn't. Remember that it runs when first unzipped. It's as if that 1 file, nomatter where it is located on the disk, is being corrupted somehow.....

Is there a way to use the XP built in OSK? I beileive in System32 folder exe named "osk". It works fine in all applications, so It shouldn't be too bad. Maybe create a semi-transparent skin for it, and make the button bigger or something. Does anyone think it could work?

Been there, done that. It's too small to be useful. The UBoard works well, although clearly picky on the .net version. Once the environment is setup properly, all works well with it. Don't give up on it.

    Touchscreen keyboard software...
    http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/atta...6&d=1148131286

I've used it before, but didn't like the button in the corner, but you can hide it.
if you have a touch screen with the Egalax Drivers (most common) then you can set the keyclicks to emulate a right button, by keeping your finger on the screen for around 2 secs. To set this up, fire up the Touch screen control panel, and I think you hit the advanced button, and select the option.

This will let you take advantage of this software.

Actually I got around it another way... I simply replaced the keyboard icon with a section of my skin, and positioned it precisely over that portion of the skin inside the skin. So basically when the keyboard is active, the icon becomes part of the skin and is invisible. This way I can leave the keyboard active all the time, but the icon won't stick out, but instead blends right in with the rest of the skin.

All right due to a long drive on a dark road last night I came up with an idea and I don't know how to implement it. My question is...
How can I take the speed that is displayed in s&t gps pane and display it instead of temperature or time, or have it's own box. Is this possible?
    Thanks in advance.

It's possible. You'll have to get a program (Xport) to share the GPS port between RR and S&T. Then you just change in what ever skin you'd like to change the temp to the command GPSSPD as is found in the skin commands file. Then enter the new gps port in RR config.

I have posted the Brushed Aluminum ST2006 skin with the original post (Brushed Metal Streets and Trips 2006 skin. Also posted are the PSD's. I made changes to some of the buttons to use keyboard short cuts in lieu of menu calls (thanks Marv87). The OSK button now calls the native WindowsXP on screen keyboard. I use another OSK that works really well. Will post more on that later. Enjoy!
